H1N1 in Republic Poly hit 51 at Sunday, June 28, 2009

Oh my! There's 599 cases of h1n1 in singapore, and 51 of them comes from rp. The no. just keep growing.. when will it ever stop? Hmmm .. people are all discussing/blaming rp for not shutting down the school. Quote from fb :

"I think RP will close down when 100 people kena h1n1, they are not happy with the number yet, thats why never close down"

"and now, RP is moving towards 50! *clap clap* Can someone please issue an award to them? Otherwise they might hit 100 one day."

"as of 28 june, 2009, 12:57 a.m, there are 43 confirmed cases of H1N1 in RP, but STILL they are not doing anything. are they trying to make us all fall sick so they can take another year of our school fees?"

You know, RP is different from other poly, even if you got sick and produce a mc it doesnt help because our GPA is calculated by daily grade and UT. Which means, you can't really missed any of the lesson. So what happen is .. those that got qurantined still need to complete their daily lessons via the Learning Environment Online (LEO) at home.

Anyway, School have send us mail saying that the virus cannot survive more than 8 hours. And if students are really sick, they can send in their mc to apply for LOA.

I still think rp should really close down for 3-7 days just to make sure the virus is not spreading anymore.
